Just so's you know, I have not disappeared off the face of the planet. However, I do seem to have lost the motivation to write lately; I think the Fuji post burned through most of my blog mojo for this year. But fear not! I shall be back soon (say this weekend or so?) with more tales from Japan to astound and amaze you with! Yes, I totally ended that sentence with a preposition -- can you tell it's speech contest crunch week? I can. :P Anyway, more news will be on the way soon!
And now, I'm off to collapse on my futon for a few blessed Engrish-free hours. Hopefully, when I wake up, the language will make sense to me again.
